PLEASE NOTE THAT BARENTS PLUS SCHOLARSHIP WILL ONLY PARTIALLY COVER ONE'S EXPENDITURES WHILE ON EXCHANGE IN RUSSIA OR NORWAY

Russian Students to Norway

NOK 8 000,- per month, one semester maximum. Students from Arkhangelsk, Petrozavodsk, Syktyvkar and Ukhta get a travel grant of NOK 5 000,- in adition to the grant.

Norwegian Students to Russia

NOK 4 000,- per month for students who receive loan/scholarship from Lånekassen, NOK 6 000,- per month for students who are not funded by Lånekassen. Students going to Arkhangelsk, Petrozavodsk, Syktyvkar and Ukhta get a  travel grant of NOK 5 000,-.

NOK 10 000,- for 2 weeks 

Preparatory visits

At the initial stage of cooperation institutions can get funding for preparatory visits to partner institution(s) when the purpose of the visit is to work on an agreement about academic activities including mobility. The grant rates for staff members participating in such visits correspond to the general rates for staff members spcified above. Barents Plus program can support exchanges of administrative staff  members provided the applicants submit a concrete plan on how these visits can contribute to interinstitutional cooperation.
