REGISTRATION FOR CALP-5: December 15 - February 8

  • Through this link, you can register for the conference, pay the registration fee (600 NOK), select your accommodation option, and pay for accommodation. If you have pre-booked accommodation at the UiT guesthouse you will be able to select this option in the online form and complete your payment accordingly.
  • If you have not pre-booked the guesthouse you will be offered accommodation at Clarion Hotel The Edge at a special rate negotiated by the CALP team (single room: 1615 NOK per night; double room for two guests: 1815 NOK per night). A one-time booking fee of 161.28 NOK will be added to the hotel reservation, regardless of the number of nights. Participants who have previously contacted us regarding this accommodation will be given priority. At present, our reservation includes 9 remaining rooms at this rate. If you select Clarion Hotel The Edge after all reserved rooms have been allocated, our agency may attempt to secure additional rooms, however, this cannot be guaranteed at short notice.
  • If you would like to be added to the priority list and receive confirmation that a room at Clarion Hotel The Edge can be allocated to you, please contact Svetlana Sokolova (svetlana.sokolova@uit.no) and Jardar Gjørv (jardar.e.gjorv@uit.no) before completing the registration form and payment. If you have already contacted us regarding this reservation your name has been added to the priority list.
Cancellation policy:
  • Conference registration may be cancelled on or before February 8, 2026. An administrative fee of 143.75 NOK will be deducted from each refund; card fees are non-refundable. From February 8, 2026, the CALP-5 registration fee is non-refundable. Hotel bookings may be changed or cancelled up to February 25, 2026. After this date, accommodation costs are non-refundable. The one-time booking fee is non-refundable.

CONFERENCE FEE

The conference fee is 600 NOK (Norwegian Kroner) per person (around 50 Euro).

This covers:

  • Five coffee breaks
  • Two lunches (Day 1 and Day 2)
  • A reception on Day 1 (tapas and drinks)
  • A conference dinner at a restaurant on Day 2
  • A trip to the mountain Fløya (by bus and Cable Car)

The fee is kept low because we have secured funding to cover the expenses of invited plenary speakers as well as most of the conference meals and arrangements.
