Virgečilgehus

Hanna is a recent PhD Research Fellow focusing on a groundbreaking project that aims to explore the epigenetic effects of environmental variables in Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS) on the later production performance of Atlantic salmon (Salmo Salar). She will play a pivotal role in advancing our understanding of how early life conditions within RAS settings impact the epigenetic mechanisms of Atlantic salmon and subsequently influence their growth, stress responses, and development. She will dive deep into molecular and epigenetic intricacies of Atlantic salmon's early life STRESS and experiences, striving to unlock the STRENGTHS that can shape their success and resilience in the face of aquaculture challenges.
