In this workshop we will take a look at the other side of funding applications - what really happens during evaluations? The workshop is run by the Environmental Humanities Research Group but is open to everyone, regardless of discipline or career stage.
This workshop will give an insight into what actually happens during the evaluation of prestigious funding applications. Using the MSCA posdoctoral fellowships as an example, Kate Maxwell (Professor, UMAK, and Vice Chair, REA) will take us through the evaluation process from registration and allocation of experts to what the final reports *really* mean, via the evaluation criteria and common mistakes applicants make.
Feel free to bring any of your documents or experiences that you are comfortable sharing (e.g. drafts, evaluation reports, anecdotes, success/horror stories).
Please register so that we have an idea of numbers (for room booking purposes). If you would like to take part but can't make the date/time, or would prefer digital, please email Kate.Maxwell@uit.no.
