As part of the open lectures at the Department for Child Welfare and Social Work, it is our pleasure to invite all interested to two lectures from visiting scholar Michele Bertani (Ca' Foscari University of Venice) about care for older people in Italy.
Michele will provide us with an insight into contemporary welfare policies in Italy, and into the results of work package 3 in the NextGenerationEU funded project AGE.IT.
Lectures and discussions are in English. It is possible to participate in person or by Teams.

Bio: Michele Bertani is a sociologist, with his main research interests in welfare systems in a comparative perspective, and in issues related to the governance and evaluation of social policies at regional, national and European level. He pays particular attention to aging, family and migrants. Michele has mainly worked in interdisciplinary teams, with a methodological preference for mixed methods.
