Training and teaching

The University Library offers introductory sessions on research data management (RDM) for all staff and students, as well as thematic sessions on all main phases of the RDM life cycle. See below for further details.

Webinars and workshops typically run twice a semester, once in Norwegian and once in English. You'll find an overview of upcoming courses under Events.

You can browse handouts and materials from previous courses in the RDM Training @ UiT Zenodo collection.

If you are a PhD student at UiT, you can also learn about best practice in RDM as part of the Take control of your PhD journey course. You may also wish to enrol on the DocEnhance Data stewardship course developed by UiT. Module 1 consists of video lectures you can take at your own convenience, while modules 2 and 3 are taught at UiT in the spring semester. You can read more about the DocEnhance Data stewardship course in the executive summary on Zenodo.
