ECO_CARE meets Musra Ozsoy
By: Musra Ozsoy
Hello! My name is Musra, and I am a Turkish student studying Global Law and Transnational Studies at the University of Turin, Italy. ECO_CARE project impacts me both personally and academically, which is why I wanted to be involved.
I first learned about the ECO_Care project in my Administrative Law course at the University, where Professor Giulia Parola introduced the details of the project. She described the project's focus on rethinking water rights with empathy, compassion, and care, which deeply resonated with me. It impacted the little child inside me who watched a documentary about water and understood its importance and interconnectedness with all living beings.
When Professor Parola mentioned that we needed to do a group project for her course, I immediately wanted to be part of a project where we tackle challenges related to water. Throughout this process, we worked on addressing the pollution in one of the most polluted rivers, the Citarum River, and how we could raise awareness about its condition.
At the end of the semester, I reached out to Professor Parola to express my enthusiasm about joining the ECO_Care project. She offered me the opportunity to contribute, and I was delighted to accept.
Now, I feel extremely grateful to have the chance to intern on such a remarkable project, and I am super excited to work with Giulia and Margherita during my internship.
