M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering - Systems and Productivity Management Hooman Abdollahi at the the School of Business and Economics (HHT) will Thursday 7 November 2024 hold his trial lecture and defend his thesis for the PhD degree in Social Science.

Trial lecture on assigned topic will take place at 10.15:

"How do investors and portfolio managers incorporate new information into their portfolio formation, and how can it affect returns and return volatilities? How does this practice relate to the “Efficient market hypothesis”?"

Later, at 12.15 he will defend his thesis entitled:

"Market volatility and new evidence from media sentiment: An AI-driven approach”
