Kirkekunsten på Tromsø Museum – Universitetsmuseet består av katolske gjenstander fra seinmiddelalderen og lutherske gjenstander fra de to første hundreårene etter reformasjonen (1536).
Kirkekunsten er utstilt i to saler på Tromsø Museum; de katolske gjenstandene i den ene og de lutherske i den andre.
De fleste middelalder-gjenstandene er treskulpturer som en gang har stått i alterskap. Alterskapet fra Andenes er museets eneste helt bevarte alterskap. Det er unikt alterskap, blant annet kjent for sin doble pasjonsfremstilling.
Den lutherske utstillingen viser eksempler på de viktigste inventartypene i kirkene etter reformasjonen, prekestol, altertavle, døpefont, minnetavle.

The church art exhibition at Tromsø University museum consists Catholic artifacts from the middle ages and Lutheran artifacts from the first two centuries following the Reformation (1536). They are exhibited in two rooms; the Catholic artifacts in one and the Lutheran in the other.
Most of the medieval artifacts are separate wooden figures, originally from winged reredos. The winged reredos from Andenes is the only fully preserved reredos at the museum. It is a unique reredos, famous among other things for its double passion presentation including St Olav’s passion on the outside of the wings imitating the passion of the Christ on the inside.
The Lutheran exhibition gives examles of the most important types of churdh furnitures in the wake of the Reformation, the pulpit, the altarpiece, the baptismal font and the epitaph.
