Modellering av komplekse systemer

Aktiviteten er et samarbeid mellom Institutt for matematikk og statistikk og Institutt for fysikk og teknologi. Den utvidede gruppa har en egen hjemmeside.

Gruppa arbeider med matematisk og statistisk modellering av komplekse fysiske, biologiske og sosioøkonomiske systemer: 

  • klimadynamikk
  • stokastiske og dynamiske modeller
  • epidemiologi og økologi
  • ikkelineær optikk og laserfysikk

Gruppa driver forskning og veiledning av master- og PhD-studenter innenfor disse områdene.
